No refunds
All payments are final. We don't refund first payments, renewals, unused time in a period, or plans cancelled when you delete a workspace or your account. The only exceptions are under If we got it wrong and Where local law gives you more.
If we suspend or close an account because it broke our Terms of Service or Acceptable Use Policy, no refund is due.
Renewals
- Plans renew automatically. Cancel before your next billing date to stop the next charge.
- We email you 7 days before every yearly renewal, so you have time to cancel.
Cancelling
Cancelling stops the next renewal. Your plan keeps working until the end of the period you paid for.
Deleting a workspace, or your account, cancels its plan right away instead of at the end of the period. The remaining time isn't refunded.
Changing sizes
- Moving up: you pay only the difference for the rest of the current period. No refund is due.
- Moving down: nothing is charged, and you keep the bigger limit until your next billing date. The lower price starts then.
- Monthly to yearly: the unused days of your month are credited against the yearly price.
- Yearly to monthly: the switch happens when your paid year ends. The year isn't refunded.
Going over your limit
Ikiform never charges for going over your limit, so there are no overage charges to dispute. Extra submissions are held until you move up a size, or turned away.
If we got it wrong
If you were charged twice, charged the wrong amount, or charged after you cancelled, email us and we'll refund the mistake in full.
If we stop offering Ikiform, or close your account when you haven't broken our terms, we'll refund the unused part of your current period.
Where local law gives you more
Some countries give consumers rights that a contract can't take away. Where they apply to you, they come before anything else on this page. Most of them only cover people buying for themselves, not for a business.
EU, EEA and UK consumers
- If you buy as a consumer, the law gives you 14 days from the day you buy to cancel a contract for an online service. This is called the right of withdrawal.
- Your plan starts as soon as you pay. At checkout you ask us to start right away and confirm you understand what that means for this right.
- If you cancel within the 14 days, we refund what you paid, minus an amount in proportion to the time your plan was running before you told us. Once the service has been fully provided, the right ends.
- If you didn't ask us to start right away, or we didn't tell you about this right before you bought, you can cancel within the 14 days for a full refund.
- To cancel, email hello@ikiform.com within the 14 days and say you're withdrawing. You don't need to give a reason.
- Businesses don't have this right.
Brazil
- If you buy as a consumer, the Consumer Defense Code (article 49) lets you cancel a purchase made online within 7 days of buying, for a full refund. This right can't be waived, and ticking the box at checkout doesn't affect it.
Australia
- Under the Australian Consumer Law, services come with guarantees that can't be excluded, such as being provided with due care and skill and being fit for the purpose you told us about. The law treats most purchases under A$100,000 as consumer purchases, including many made by businesses.
- If there's a major failure, you can cancel and get a refund for the unused part, or compensation for the drop in value. If the failure is minor, we'll fix it within a reasonable time. If we don't, you can cancel and get a refund for the unused part.
- You may also be able to claim for other loss or damage that was reasonably foreseeable.
New Zealand
- If you buy for personal or household use, the Consumer Guarantees Act guarantees that services are provided with reasonable care and skill and are fit for purpose. If a failure is substantial or can't be fixed, you can cancel and get a refund, which may be partial if part of the service still had value.
- If you buy for a business, the Terms of Service say that Act doesn't apply, as the law allows.
Everywhere else
- If the law where you live gives you any other right that can't be excluded, such as a cooling-off period, a right to cancel, or a remedy for a service that wasn't provided as promised, it still applies. Email us and we'll honour it.
- Switzerland has no general right to cancel online purchases, so the rest of this page applies there, along with any rights Swiss law does give you.
How a refund is paid
Dodo Payments, our merchant of record, processes every payment and refund. When we refund a payment, the money goes back to the payment method you used, including the matching share of any tax charged. Depending on your bank it takes 5 to 10 business days to arrive. Refunds the law requires are paid within the time the law sets, which in the EU and UK is 14 days from when you tell us.
Please email us before opening a dispute or chargeback with your bank. We can usually sort it out faster.
Billing questions
Email hello@ikiform.com from the address on your account. Include your workspace name and the date of the payment. You'll hear back within 3 business days.
