Abuse and Takedown

Effective October 23, 2026

Ikiform doesn't host websites. It receives what people type into forms on other people's websites. This page explains what we can remove, how to ask, and what happens next.

What we can and can't do

  • We can stop a form from receiving submissions, hold its emails and webhooks, delete stored submissions, and suspend the workspace that owns it.
  • We can't remove the web page the form is on. That page is hosted by someone else. For that, contact the site's hosting provider too.
  • If you submitted data through someone else's form and want it removed, ask the site that owns the form first. They control the data. If they don't answer, email us.

Phishing, spam, malware and other abuse

Email abuse@ikiform.com. Include:

  • The address of the page with the form.
  • The form ID if you have it. It starts with frm_ and is in the address the form posts to.
  • What is wrong, and screenshots or email headers if you have them.

We aim to look at phishing and malware reports within 1 business day. We may pause a form before we contact its owner when people are at risk.

If you believe a form on Ikiform uses your copyrighted work without permission, email a notice to hello@ikiform.com with the subject Copyright notice. The notice must include:

  • Your name, address, phone number and email address.
  • The copyrighted work you say is infringed.
  • Where the material is: the form ID or the page address, specific enough for us to find it.
  • A statement that you believe in good faith the use isn't authorised by the owner, its agent or the law.
  • A statement that the notice is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you own the right or may act for the owner.
  • Your physical or electronic signature.

We may send a copy of the notice, including your name, to the workspace owner. Notices that are incomplete or obviously wrong may be rejected. A false notice can make you liable for damages.

Counter-notices

If we removed your content after a copyright notice and you think it was a mistake, email hello@ikiform.com with:

  • Your name, address, phone number and email address.
  • What was removed and where it was.
  • A statement, under penalty of perjury, that you believe in good faith it was removed by mistake or misidentification.
  • A statement that you accept the jurisdiction of the US federal district court for your address, or, if you live outside the US, any court where Ikiform may be found, and that you will accept service of process from the person who sent the notice.
  • Your physical or electronic signature.

We'll send the counter-notice to the person who sent the original notice. If they don't tell us within 10 to 14 business days that they have started a court case, we may restore the content.

Repeat infringers

We close the accounts of customers who repeatedly infringe other people's rights.

For trademark, privacy, defamation or other legal complaints, email hello@ikiform.com. Tell us who you are, what the content is, where it is and which law you rely on. We review each complaint and may ask the workspace owner for their side.

Orders from courts and government bodies go through our process for law enforcement requests.

Contact points

  • Abuse reports: abuse@ikiform.com.
  • Legal notices, copyright, court orders and requests from authorities: hello@ikiform.com.
  • This is also our point of contact for users and authorities under the EU Digital Services Act.

Grievance officer for India

Preet Suthar is the grievance officer for Ikiform. Complaints sent to the legal address are acknowledged within 24 hours and resolved within 15 days.

What happens after you report

  • We confirm we got your report.
  • We review it, and we may ask you for more information.
  • If we act, we tell the workspace owner what we did and why, unless that would put people at risk or the law stops us.
  • We tell you the outcome when we can. We may not share details about another customer's account.
  • The workspace owner can ask us to review our decision. A person reviews every appeal.

The rules we enforce are in the Acceptable Use Policy.
